Privacy Policy

Taags is a daily task service that can be used through the web app and an optional Slack integration. This policy explains what information Taags processes and why.
Information we collect
We process account details such as your name, work email, company, role, timezone, and password credentials. When your company connects Slack, we also process workspace and user identifiers, app installation tokens, task commands, mentions, reactions, and the minimum message content needed to create and update a Taags task.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, create and assign tasks, send reminders, reply in Slack, provide team administration, protect the service, diagnose failures, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Slack data and permissions
Slack access is limited to the permissions approved by a workspace administrator. Taags uses Slack content only to deliver requested task features. Workspace administrators can disconnect Slack from Taags settings, which revokes use of the stored installation for future requests.
Storage, security, and retention
Taags applies access controls, tenant separation, encrypted storage for Slack tokens, and secure transport. We keep information only as long as needed to operate the service, meet contractual or legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Service providers and disclosure
We may use hosting, email, monitoring, and Slack platform providers to operate Taags. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You may ask your Taags company administrator to correct or remove your account. A company administrator may also disconnect Slack. Privacy and data requests can be submitted through the Taags contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
